November Already

Our friends Chad and Debbie came up from Tucson and brought their boat this weekend. The closest lake to them is Lake Pleasant which works great for us because its less than 15 minutes from our house. The kids rode on the banana and loved it. The girls kept giving Chad the thumbs up to go faster and poor Neal (the designated rider) couldn't wait for it to be over. When they were dumped into the 65 degree water we all awaited the tears but were pleasantly surprised with clapping from both of them. It was a hit, thanks uncle Chad!

Two of my best friends!

This is after I landed my back flip!!!!!
Chad dumped them right after this picture. They loved it! Well, the girls did.
Two thumbs up...........hold on Kyson!

Halloween and the Trunk or Treat

Kennedy at her Halloween parade at school. They paraded around the whole school and then went back to their class for a party and crafts. She looked so cute and everyone loved her costume.

Kyson turned 3!

Kyson is really into dinosaurs right now so we had a dinosaur party for him at the park. By the looks of these pictures you would never believe he had a good time but he really did love it. We were lucky enough to have Bret and Amberly out here with us to celebrate.
Kyson is such a fun kid to have around and always keeps us laughing. He is a pretty mellow kid (unless he is trying to wrestle Boston) and is really good to go with the flow of things. He loves to tease his sister every chance he can because he knows her tears are really close to the surface, and when those come he is victorious!
He finally loves to go to nursery and every week it is a guessing game as to what the snack will be. On the way to church we all have to take a guess as to what we think the snack is and on the way home he is so excited to declare the winner.
I still have 3 years with him before he starts kindergarten and somedays I admit 3 years seems like forever, but for the most part I am so glad he will be around. I don't know what I would do without him.

The Many Faces of Kyson

Love this boy! Here is the little conversation I had with him the other day.

Mom: Kyson, you need to get down so you don't crack your head open.
Kyson: Thats okay,if I crack my head open then you can get all the candy out!

First day of school

My little girl started school last week and loves every minute of it. In our school district Kindergarten is all day with a choice to come pick them up before lunch for a half day. I asked her if she wanted to just do a half day, and she looked at me like I was idiot. On the first day of school I was so worried about forgetting to send her with lunch that I forgot to feed her breakfast. So I was not only a basket case as I left her but once I remembered she didn't eat you can imagine my morning. 5 days later I still cry when I drop her off and lose her in the crowd of kids. Every morning she says to me, "mom, I'll be just fine......I'll see you at 3:00." (wait....who is the mother?) What would she say if she knew I drive by the school at recess to see if I can see her on the playground. She loves her teacher and loves the fact she has red hair just like her. She has met a lot of new friends and thinks she's pretty cool eating lunch in the cafeteria. We will see how long the love for cafeteria food lasts. Love you Kenna!

Oregon

We were able to meet my family up in Oregon for the week. It was so nice to get out of the heat and enjoy the cooler weather up there. High's in the 60's are perrrrrrrfect for me. Tillamook cheese factory, crabbing, lighthouses, sand dunes, tide pools, are a few things we did while we were there. Loved it!

Wedding in Spokane

My brother got married in Spokane this summer and it was the most beautiful place I have ever been. The luncheon was at the Coeur d'alene golf course and that was a sight to see. We sat right here by the floating green and watched after they would T off their caddy would drive them out in a boat to the green. The picture doesn't even do it justice. The scenery was amazing! Welcome to the fam Amberly, we love you and couldn't have asked for anyone better for Bret.
